Initial Consultation (Complementary)

In an initial visit, Dr. Priolo works closely with patients to identify their personal goals of care. Whether it's your first visit or it's been over a year since your last treatment, a detailed review of health status, current complaints and evaluation will be conducted. This includes a thorough review of medical history, outcome assessment tool(s), and both subjective and objective examinations.

The subjective evaluation involves documenting qualitative findings related to the involved spinal and/or extremity regions. The objective evaluation includes passive and active range of motion testing, as well as orthopedic assessments. Additional testing—such as motor, reflex, and sensory evaluations—may be performed if clinically indicated. These assessments are used to help rule out conditions that require diagnostic imaging or specialist referrals and assist in determining the most effective treatment plan for patients.

Routine Visit ($75.00)

After conducting an evaluation and informed consent on the benefits and risks associated with chiropractic care, a plan of action is discussed, helping to identify the most effective/desired therapies  for patients' conditions.  The following therapies may be used in a treatment session:

  • Targeted myofascial release to help desensitize treatment areas and facilitate CMT (chiropractic manipulative therapy).  Soft tissue massage includes but is not limited to: manual trigger point massage, percussive massage therapy, pin and stretch, Gua Sha, Electric muscle stimulation, kinesio taping, cupping therapy or passive assisted stretching.

  • Spinal and extremity chiropractic manipulative therapy (CMT) aims to provide a short term or temporary reduction in pain and improvement in range of motion.  Dr. Steve favors manual techniques that most effectively mobilize joints of the spine and extremities.  HVLA (high velocity, low amplitude) is a joint manipulation technique used by a majority of chiropractors, as well as physical therapists and osteopaths, to help passively mobilize synovial joints throughout the body and often results in an audible release known as a cavitation.

  • Condition Specific Active Care will be paired with passive therapies to help help further desensitize and improve functional strength in areas of focus.  Patients will be guided and coached through exercise following passive therapies, as well as provided with simple daily active care regiments for further therapeutic benefit post-care.

DISCLAIMER: Personal Health Insurance/Medicare not accepted

Comeback Chiropractic and Wellness, PLLC is a fee-for-service (cash-based) practice, meaning payment is made directly at the time of service rather than through insurance billing. This model allows care to be personalized and not limited by insurance company restrictions, approvals, or reimbursement requirements. As a result, treatment decisions are based solely on what’s best for the patient—not what’s covered by a policy.

Without the pressure to meet insurance-driven quotas or deliver care in high-volume care plans, Dr. Priolo can focus on providing high-quality, result-driven treatment. Eliminating billing health insurance  ultimately allows for greater emphasis on recovery and patient satisfaction rather than prolonged treatment schedules or insurance compliance.  If you are a patient enrolled in Medicare, Dr. Priolo can refer you to an alternate D.C. in your area who is a participating provider in Medicare.
